The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state has reacted to Governor Ayodele Fayose’s letter written to the government of China seeking the stoppage of the $2 billion loan being sought by the federal government of Nigeria.
In a statement made by Taiwo Olatunbosun, the APC publicity secretary, the party stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s initiative was in tandem with other countries of the world that are engaged in bilateral arrangements for development purposes.
The party’s secretary said that Fayose’s conduct amounted to a national sabotage and such behavior must not be allowed to go unchallenged.

Olatunbosun noted that while the governor was busy spending Ekiti money on frivolities, his workers’ salaries remained unpaid for four months.
“As we speak, doctors are on strike and Ekiti people are dying while the governor gets himself busy with the activities that will lead to evasion of justice in his several alleged criminal cases so that he can protect his questionable wealth across the world,” he said.
Meanwhile, Fayose, who is currently in Guangzhou, China, to attend the 119th China Import and Export Fair, keeps on criticizing President Buhari.
This time he applauded the international community for ‘revealing’ some undoings of the Buhari-led administration.
He called on the British government to investigate the allegation of the use of British foreign aid given to Nigeria to help combat Boko Haram to fund a witch-hunt against opposition politicians with a view to preventing continuous use of fund belonging to the country wrongly.
Meanwhile, Buhari has revealed that his trip to China was successful and yielded about $6 billion investment for Nigeria.
The president expressed assurance that his one-week trip would have a positively huge impact on key sectors of the Nigerian economy including power, solid minerals, agriculture, housing and rail transportation.
